Learn a part of Lindy Hop history through these short partnered routines, created in the Savoy Ballroom in the 1930s, performed by Whitey’s Lindy Hoppers, and kept alive by later generations of Savoy dancers and performance groups of note such as Harvest Moon Ball winners Sugar Sullivan and Barbara Billups and Mama Lou Parks and her Parkets. There are two Stops Routines, First Stops and Second Stops, each lasting four to five phrases.
Prerequisites for this class: Knowledge of Swingouts and Charleston basics
