Registration for this event is not required.
We have partnered with DCLX to bring the incredible Chelsea Reed and the Fairweather Nine to the beautiful and historic Spanish Ballroom at Glen Echo Park. From 8:00 pm-9:00 pm we'll have an introductory swing dance lesson to get you all the basics you need (no partner or experience required). Then from 9:00 pm-midnight dance the night away to this swinging band and stay until 1am for a DJed Soul Hour! Admission is $30 ($20 if you register in advance) and covers the drop-in class, the dance, and the Soul Hour! Register at https://dclx.org/nclxtra-2024
There will also be a free Newcomer Contest and a special day of Lindy Hop workshops with visiting instructors, Anthony and Irina. For registration, pricing, and schedule details about any of the three, visit https://dclx.org/nclxtra-2024/
