"The Social" is our weekly dance. It runs from 9:00 to 11:00 every Tuesday night in the beautiful Josephine Butler Parks Center. We regularly feature many of the best DJs in the DC area, not to mention occasional bands, vinyl nights, and other fun stuff.
Admission to the dance always comes with complimentary admission to our drop-in lesson beforehand. And, when you sign up for one of our regular series classes, your admission to the dance is included with the price of the class,

The New Columbia Special is our series of occasional dances at the timeless Glen Echo Park Spanish Ballroom. We bring in some of our favorite bands, and then we dance. Plus, you will be hard-pressed to find a better venue for dancing anywhere!

In collaboration with DCLX, we bring you the incredible Chelsea Reed and the Fairweather Nine for NCLXtra! Join us in the beautiful Spanish Ballroom at Glen Echo Park to dance the night away to this swinging band and stay for a special DJed Soul Hour! An introductory swing dance lesson from 8-9 pm is included with admission, followed by dancing from 9 pm-1 am. We will have a Newcomer Mix and Match contest during the band breaks (free to compete and no partner required)!
