Int/Adv Track--Lindy Hop Workshop: St. Louis Shim Sham class and 3 partnered classes

When: Saturday, May 31, 2025, 12:45 pm-5:45 pm 

Where: Glen Echo Park, Spanish Ballroom

Prerequisites: Familiarity with 6-count and 8-count Lindy Hop including side passes, circles, tuck turns, and swingouts

Pricing: $75 In advance, $85 At the door

12:45 pm: Check in

1:00 pm-2:00 pm: St. Louis Shim Sham (All levels)

2:15 pm-3:15 pm: Tech Tuneup

-Get nerdy about connection, momentum control, and energy conservation as we work on swingout and other fundamental technique.

3:30 pm-4:30 pm: Snappy Dynamics

-Play with energy and add exciting redirections and rhythm changes to your partnered dynamic.

4:45 pm-5:45 pm: Follow the Flow

-Use what you’ve learned about momentum and redirection to share your movement with your partner and invent new moves and sequences together.

If you are newer to Lindy Hop, join us for the St. Louis Shim Sham, then enjoy a Lindy Hop FUNdamentals track with excellent NCS instructors in the Backroom. Registration for that track is separate from this event, but both include the St. Louis Shim Sham class!
