Class Description

Music is why we dance! The swing dance styles we enjoy at New Columbia Swing were developed in the 1920s, ‘30s, and ‘40s in response to the innovative, exciting music of the day: jazz. In this series, you will continue to learn new lindy hop moves and practice the ones you learned in Swing 1, and will explore how the music inspires our movements and our dance ideas. Completion of the Swing 1 series or equivalent is required to attend this class.
