December 2024: NCS Solo Routine

Learn the NCS Routine, a jazz line dance put together by our very own teaching staff! 

Shortly after closing the dance in March of 2020, we began a project we called the Quarantine Routine. With permission from bandleader extraordinaire, Michael Gamble, each teacher choreographed a chorus of his arrangement and recording of “Slidin’ & Glidin'.”  Everyone shared videos of themselves dancing and teaching their section so we could dance together while apart. Now it is an NCS community tradition to learn and dance it together in person! Plus it is a great way to practice classic vernacular jazz steps!
