Black History Month Special Edition of Swing 2!

Lindy Hop is a dance invented by African Americans in the 1930s as a joyful and defiant form of expression and escape in a world of financial hardship and systematic racism. In this series we will use footage of some of the originators of the dance as inspiration and instruction, learning moves and movements that are fundamental to the dance, and honoring its roots! Completion of the Swing 1 series or equivalent is required to attend this class.
