Class Description

Music is why we dance! The swing dance styles we enjoy at New Columbia Swing were developed in the 1920s, ‘30s, and ‘40s in response to the innovative, exciting music of the day, jazz. In this series, we will explore that music and ways that we use it to inspire our movements and our dance ideas.
